Blue Boat is more of a floating Sculpture.
Estimated to sell for between €180 000 and €220 000, the RAL5105 by Parisian multidisciplinary artist Xavier Veilhan is both a cool blue boat and a real water monochrome sculpture. Veilhan was invited by John Dodelande to think about the idea of creating a boat. The motor yacht has been designed in collaboration with Frauscher, the 80-year-old Austrian shipyard. Veilhan considers his blue boat consistent with his artistic approach to movement. Equipped with a MerCruiser 220 HP motor, the 6.9 meter boat accommodates eight persons. More of a floating sculpture, the RAL5105 blue boat will be up for auction on July 20 at Hôtel Hermitage in Monte-Carlo by the Parisian Artcurial.
