Eric White_Painter
Born in 1968, painter Eric White graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1990 with a BFA and now works in Brooklyn, New York. Eric’s works are often painted with no specific focal point which goes against the commonly acknowledged artistic aesthetics of viewpoints, perspectives and color theories, but somehow he makes it work. It forces the viewer to take in the image in a whole new way and the public is responding positively. Eric’s paintings have made their way into the collections of famous figures such as Mark Parker, Leonardo DiCaprio, David Arquette and Courteney Cox, Patricia Arquette, Peter Farrelly, Viggo Mortensen and Gail Zappa. One of Eric’s paintings was most recently displayed at Tara McPherson’s gallery, Cotton Candy Machine, in a show called ‘The Tiny Trifecta’. The show ran from April 1rst to May 1rst, 2011.
