Built in 2010 in Zushi-shi (Kanagawa), the Periscope House conceals architectural obligations of a residential area with space maximization. Made by architects Toshimitsu Kuno and
Tomoro Aida, this two levels house stands on a 114 m² field. The last floor dislocates itself, such as a periscope, and overflows from its pedestal to allow three bigger sleeping rooms. By this, the final living space reaches 108m² with garage and entrance alley.
