Between installation and furniture, the Belgian Maarten De Ceulaer presents a particular vision of design and alternates object of practical use with conceptual creations. As shows his new collection, “Mutation Series”, currently presented at Milan 2012. A line of seats and poufs looking like alive organisms. Working on upholstery, he proposes unique pieces, as unreproducible, where bubbles of different sizes and forms are made with foam sewed on standard structures.
