House in Abiko_by Fuse-Atelier
Based in Chiba (Japan), and made by the Fuse-Atelier studio, this House in Abiko surprises. Indeed a little dark and excessively cold, the dwelling is however interesting in an architectural point of view. Multifaceted concrete structure, the first of the three levels overflows in two volumes to cover the entrance and the parking place. To thwart the light lack and for, after all, warm the inhabitation, two large glass windows have been placed in the front and the rear of the house. As the facades irregularity, the inside is also dislocated in a series of horizontal plans that, by their position, allow to maximize the verticality of the inner space. Lastly, to reflect the sun rays, a white tiled floor covers all the different grounds.
