Interior Inspiration from Gubi Denmark

There are certain things we have come to associate with Danish design: simplicity, functionalism, industriousness, timelessness; Gubi Denmark has been staying at the forefront of all of these for over 4 decades. I was browsing their interiors gallery and came across a fine representation of this sensibility, not to mention great inspiration for my own home. With a fine balance of masculine and feminine, subtle pops of color and classic styles combine for a heritage feel with the sense of ever fresh Danish innovation. Just beautiful!

Can a simple café combine a classic Italian feel with an owners modern taste and edgy attitude? This is the challenge presented to us by Crespella restaurant consultant Justin Durazzo.

The star of the Crespella’s is a mural that features a slew of Italian expression. The phrases range from food descriptors, to playfully placed curse words, with some classic proverbial sayings, and just the right amount of neighborhood pride mixed in. This wall perfectly encapsulates the concept for the brand, a sophisticated elegance with just the right amount of edgy attitude. It feels modern, but has authenticity only an experienced Italian can provide.

The thoughtful design and well crafted concept has been greeted with great reviews and a proud owner who truly feel at home in the space.
